I've seen a few people posting about this happening, so while it's certainly caused by either something on your PC or a site you visit, you're not alone with it either. There's nothing wrong with my PC. I use NOD32 Antivirus and I've heard there is an issue when using Norton but I haven't found info about any issues that Chrome could have with NOD32. It must be something related to my system anyway but the fact that all other browsers are working on it while Chrome does not looks pretty bleak for Chrome imho.
