I just started up again after about a year away and am having a blast. I solo mostly just because of time but other then the lack of a lot of people around, I don’t have anything that really bugs me. Of course, I’m still a noob (again!) so can’t speak for later on
I started again after reading a new Star Wars book – Darth Bane : Path of Destruction (which I recommend! ) and started thinking about the game again, and of course had to start a Jedi. Come on, the allure of swinging a red lightsabre is just to great! Surprised my house is till up on my other toon, though it drained he bank account dry

I’ve played SWG 6mos. after it came out. Actually, I bought it for my son, in tears because the video card we had wasn’t good enough to run the game. So, we changed the video card and were up and running again.
I LOVE SWG – there’s no other virtual world and a place for friends to work and play. I’ve had many profession, been a mayor of a large city and have done countless things which keeps me busy.
Has it changed -> FOR SURE IT HAS. and I personally think there have been many changes for the better. I’m sure there will be more changes and again it will be to make the game better. Only more good will come.

I think that SWG is still the game I remember it to be… yes the elder players that played it from the beginning could be disgruntled but everyone else that is starting out is loving it. I myself am in school so I make it a habit that every summer no matter what I must play SWG and I love every second of it! I don’t really care what other people say about it because this game is star wars and that right there is enough to make me play it! And I will be loyal to this game until it is bested by the upcoming online star wars game that is rumored to be based off of KOTOR! which will be AWESOME!

I have played SWG not to Long Just around 3 months. and i have made Profiles on the free 15 day triall to see if SWG has gotten any beater. and i have a question should i start playing SWG again? since all im playing now is GTA San Andreas, Halo, Halo 2, WarHammer 40K dawn of war, and a little of StarCraft and Star wars Knights of the old republic since the update with Pet Proffesion coming to a end, Just around 9 profeesion and no lock on Targeting Combat system Update.
[BTW i bought SWG the total Experence, plus my BARC Speeder Exploded by a sith Grrr....]

Actually i believe the removing of abandon houses (June 5) will be the first step for a server merge. I expect they will do a merge before year end. However there will be some issues to solve before they do that. things like people having toons on both servers that are merged? A guild that has a town on say Naboo with shuttle and all… do they loose shuttle ect.?

But while Starsider isn’t the full server it was day 1 it would be too crowded if the poplulation suddenly doubled.

We currently have 3 test servers in SWGANH but we pick ppl to do our testing we currently have over 50 ppl from different communities that are doing testing. Once we are happy with our core and coding we will open a public test server. But having to many ppl reporting the same bugs over and over and over cause they didnt read it was posted 9 times before they posted it isnt going to help us. Also look at the other teams test server. It is for testing its just a bunch of ppl running around ganking each other. Nonone is really looking for bugs they are just messing around with a half put together combat system. We promise once we open a test server it wont be anything like you have seen. Thanks for taking the time and stop by our site offten to check for updates.

VetStar – WoW isnt really for teenies.
and the EMU IS NOT FOR FOOLS.
The EMU is very stable and if the server should shutdown it wouldnt leave you with nothing.
Ever heard of CHaracter save?

Well there are now 2 EMU teams, http://www.swgemu.com and http://www.swganh.com
I dont know wich one is the best, but the swgEMU team got a testserver, and ANH doesnt…

sounds like fun lol, by the way a peice of advice for jedi expertise, make sure you upgrade your heal to have dot resistance. Also get the forsake fear ability which gets 60% of your energy back, they help me so much in both npc and pvp combat.

if there is a team of commandos and/or medics you best have a good team yourself.

we actually had a battle in Restuss last night against a commando team.

imps – 3 commandos, 2 jedi, 1 officer
rebs – 3 jedi, 2 commandos, 1 spy, 1 medic

It was a great battle lasting around 10mins. Rebs eventually won. In this case i think it was our Medic more than pure numbers that made the difference in that he was able to give us heals and preformed 2 or 3 rez before he went down.
